Are you a Civil Engineer looking to join a tight-knit design-build firm where you can take real ownership, learn directly from senior leadership, and grow with a business that is scaling quickly?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established commercial design-build company working on a steady backlog of projects across healthcare and dental facilities, plus a mix of multifamily and commercial work. You will be supported with hands-on training and clear room to step up as the team expands.

This is a small, family-run business with an intimate office-based environment, known for taking projects from concept through to completion and working closely with an in-house construction team. Due to continued growth and plans to open a new office by year-end, they are now looking to add to their design team.

In this role you will produce civil drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for commercial and land development projects, support stormwater/site development design, meet with clients, and help drive projects forward from permitting through delivery. You will also oversee and support a small engineering team as the department continues to grow.

This role would suit a Civil Engineer with strong Civil 3D experience and an EIT (or close to PE) looking for a role where you can broaden your project exposure, develop your technical capability, and progress with a growing design-build team.

The Role:

• Civil design for commercial / land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Site development and stormwater design support
• Oversee and support a small engineering team (initially 2 engineers)
• Office-based role in Detroit with close collaboration across the design-build team
• Client-facing work and coordination through permitting and delivery

The Person:

• Civil Engineer with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• EIT required (close to PE preferred)
• Commercial / land development or site development background preferred
