Are you a PE-licensed Substation Engineer looking to for a leadership role where you'll run multiple HV substation projects at a company that offers clear leadership progression?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established EPC delivering high- and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure across utilities, power generation, industrial, oil & gas, and renewables.

The company is experiencing major growth with a strong backlog, driven by ongoing grid expansion and increasing demand from data-center infrastructure.

In this role, you'll take ownership of the quality, schedule, and profitability performance of your engineering team, while coordinating closely with construction, purchasing, and customer stakeholders.

The Role:
- Lead multiple substation projects/teams, owning delivery against quality, schedule, and profitability targets.
- Assign resources and projects based on scope, timelines, and team capacity.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables with construction and purchasing to hit field milestones.
- Track schedules and budgets; drive corrective action when projects drift.
- Apply engineering tools as needed (ground grid, relay coordination, transformer sizing, short circuit, load flow).
- Ensure design work aligns to project standards and industry codes (NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI).
- Maintain documentation discipline and safety ownership (JSA sheets).
- Travel ~10% for short site visits, meetings, and training.

The Person:
- Licensed PE with 15+ years in the industry.
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Strong substation engineering/design background, including 138kV+ systems and substation equipment.
- Solid AC/DC fundamentals, three-phase systems knowledge, and power flow understanding.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficient with engineering and project management software/tools.
