Are you a High Voltage Electrical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Electrical Service Engineer looking to become the go-to technical specialist on advanced industrial inspection equipment, with structured internal training and scope to build rare expertise in a niche field?

On offer is a permanent position with a well-established manufacturer of industrial X-ray inspection systems, where you'll be supported to develop specialist skills and gain certifications while working on technically complex, bespoke systems used across industries including aerospace, automotive, electronics, and energy.

In this role you will install, commission, and troubleshoot high-voltage industrial X-ray equipment and associated control/electromechanical systems, supporting customers on-site and training operators on safe, effective use. The position includes travel to customer sites (up to around 50%, including some international).

This role would suit a hands-on electrical engineer with high-voltage experience who wants specialist development, technical progression, and ownership as the lead engineer on customer-facing projects.

The Role:
- Install, commission, and service high-voltage industrial X-ray inspection systems
- Fault-find electrical/control/electromechanical subsystems and support customers on-site
- Train customer operators and maintenance teams on safe operation and best practice
- Based in Bohemia, NY with travel to customer sites (up to ~50%, some international)

The Person:
- Electrical Engineering background with hands-on high-voltage experience (industrial/capital equipment)
- Comfortable travelling and working directly with customers in the field
- Eligible to work in the US and able to pass background checks / drug screening (as required)
