On offer is a technically varied, hands-on role where you'll own the electrical "nervous system" of automated industrial X-ray inspection systems-from electrical design through to build, commissioning, and troubleshooting-working closely with mechanical and software engineering to deliver reliable, high-throughput machines.

This company designs and manufactures advanced inspection solutions used across aerospace, automotive, electronics, nuclear, oil & gas, and pipe & weld applications. As a result of continued growth, they are looking to add to their engineering team.

In the role you will produce schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, program and debug PLC-based control systems (Allen Bradley/Siemens/RSLogix), integrate VFDs/servo/DC drives, and support installation and commissioning with around 20% travel to customer sites.

The Role:
- Design and finalize electrical schematics and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
- PLC programming, debugging, and commissioning for automated handling systems
- Integrate motor drives (VFDs/servo/DC drives), actuators, robotics, and PC-based control
- Test, troubleshoot, and support installs in-house and at customer sites (approx. 20% travel)

The Person:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related)
- 3+ years' electro-mechanical/automation experience (wiring, controls, industrial equipment)
- Eager to receive training, progress and a long-term career
