Production Coordinator/Production Team Lead

Are you a Production Coordinator, Production Team Lead or Manufacturing Lead looking for a long-term role where you can become the go-to person on a line, develop your skills, and build toward a Supervisor position in a modern facility?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business at a newer site, where you will be trusted with coordinating production activity, supporting startup performance, and coaching operators to hit output, quality and efficiency targets.

In this role you'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, covering labor assignments and line coverage, monitoring downtime and waste, and escalating equipment issues to Maintenance. You'll also be verifying operator competency on equipment operation, changeovers and cleaning procedures.

As the company continues to develop capability on-site equipment, they are looking to add to the team with someone who takes pride in standards, safety and doing things the right way.

This role would suit a manufacturing professional with leadership experience looking to step into a stable position with strong training, real responsibility, and a clear route into supervision.

The Role:

• Coordinate production activities: labor assignments, breaks, operator placement and line coverage
• Monitor output, productivity, downtime, equipment effectiveness and waste; support issue resolution
• Train, coach and verify operators on tasks, equipment operation, changeovers and cleaning
• Night shift: 5 PM - 3:30 AM, Monday - Friday

The Person:

• 3+ years' manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Comfortable with equipment operation/troubleshooting and maintaining GMP/food safety standards
• Food/bakery manufacturing experience and SQF/GMP knowledge beneficial
