Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a stable long-term position where you can learn to operate a large Bridge Mill, receive proper training, and take on a new hands-on challenge?

You'll be joining an established custom machinery and precision machining business that is growing again due to increased customer demand. With employee recognition programs and a team-focused environment, this is a company that wants to invest in the right person.

This is a hands-on role working with large components, substantial preparation work, and complex setups. You'll be trained to operate a large Bridge Mill, initially on first/mid-shift so you're properly supported while learning the machine, before moving onto permanent second shift.

Previous Bridge Mill experience isn't required. This role would suit a practical CNC Machinist with strong fundamentals who is comfortable working with large components and complex setups, and takes pride in safe, accurate work. There are also opportunities to apply for other internal positions after six months.

The Role:

• Train to operate a large Bridge Mill, with on-the-job training initially on first/mid-shift
• Prepare large workpieces through drilling, tapping, milling flats and other machining operations
• Carry out complex setups involving large components, working safely around substantial machinery
• Move onto permanent second shift once trained: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

The Person:

• Experienced CNC Machinist with a strong practical machining background
• Comfortable working with large workpieces and complex setups, including the physical demands of accessing large machinery
• Safety-conscious with enough CNC knowledge to spot incorrect movements and potential crashes
