Are you a Mechanical Analysis Engineer, FEA Engineer, or CFD Engineer looking to take technical ownership of high-impact work, with a clear route to becoming a Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert in a fast-growing clean energy business?
On offer is a rare opportunity to join a specialist engineering team supporting advanced nuclear fuel technology, where your analysis will directly influence design decisions, resolve technical issues, and improve equipment performance as the company continues to scale year-on-year.
This organization is commercializing an advanced, laser-based enrichment process and is known for tackling complex engineering challenges. Due to continued growth they are now looking to add a senior-level analysis specialist to strengthen their capability and help set best practices.
In this role you will perform and guide linear and nonlinear structural FEA, thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis, and CFD for gas and vacuum systems. You will define assumptions and boundary conditions, validate models using test/operating data, complete first-principles/hand calculations to verify results, and document recommendations in engineering reports.
This role would suit a analysis engineer with strong FEA and CFD experience, looking for technical recognition, influence across a multidisciplinary team, and a genuine path toward Technical Lead / SME status.
The Role:
- Perform and guide structural, thermal, and multiphysics analysis to support engineering decisions
- Run linear/nonlinear FEA (stress/strain), thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis
- Deliver CFD analysis for gas and vacuum systems (compressible flow and heat transfer)
- Validate and troubleshoot models using test data; produce clear engineering reports and recommendations
The Person:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related engineering discipline)
- Strong experience in engineering analysis including FEA and CFD, with solid fundamentals (solid mechanics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance and nuclear site access
