On offer is a permanent, on-site position with a well-established manufacturer, where you will be supported with ongoing development (Udemy / upskilling) and given the scope to grow into broader accounting responsibility and a future title change as you develop.

Established in 1980 and operating across five North American plants, this business manufactures high-volume plastic components used across personal care, food & beverage, and pharma markets. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add to their finance team at the Auburn site.

In this role you will focus on cost accounting and inventory management activity including standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting, and month-end close, working closely with manufacturing, operations, and warehouse teams to deliver accurate insight and identify cost improvement opportunities.

This role would suit someone with cost accounting and inventory experience, strong Excel skills, and a background in manufacturing or any plant/warehouse environment, looking for training, recognition, and progression long-term.

The Role:
- Cost accounting and inventory management: standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting, month-end close
- Partner with manufacturing / operations / warehouse teams to support reporting and identify cost improvement opportunities
- On-site role in Auburn, IN (8am-4pm schedule)

The Person:
- Experience with inventory management and cost accounting (or strong exposure to cost accounting)
- Strong Excel skills
- Any background applicable, manufacturing, plant, or warehouse preferred
