Are you a Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, or Construction Safety Manager looking for a travelling role where you can own safety programs on major heavy civil projects and build a long-term career with a rapidly growing contractor?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join an established heavy civil construction company, covering sites from Maine to Texas, where you will take real responsibility for driving best-practice safety standards and supporting compliance across multiple crews and projects.

This business is known for delivering high-quality excavation, site preparation, and utility projects for government and commercial clients. As a result of continued growth and ambitious expansion plans, they are now looking to add an experienced safety professional to their specialist team, with a clear route to senior leadership for the right person.

In this role you will execute EHS programs, ensure adherence to OSHA and other local/state/federal regulations, and conduct site audits and inspections to identify hazards and improve safe working practices across the field.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Safety Specialist looking to step into a high-impact travelling position, gain support toward further OSHA certifications, and progress into a senior safety leadership role.


The Role:

• Travelling safety position supporting heavy civil construction sites
• Execute EHS programs and promote best practices across the field
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations and standards
• Conduct site audits/inspections, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions

The Person:

• OSHA 30 certified and comfortable working in a heavy civil/civil construction environment
• CPR / First Aid trained and willing to travel full-time
• OSHA 1926 knowledge or a related degree beneficial
