Are you an Electrical Engineer from a defense, aerospace, avionics, RF or radar background looking to take ownership of complex electronic systems and progress into senior and lead roles as the business continues to expand?

On offer is a highly technical position within an established defense and aerospace electronics specialist, working on mission-critical military applications involving embedded computing systems, electronic hardware development, integration, testing and modernization.

This company is known for delivering high-quality, high-reliability electronics and, as a result of continued expansion, they are now looking to add to their engineering team to support new development as well as the modernization of legacy systems.

In this role you will design and develop advanced electronic hardware and embedded systems, support prototype builds and system integration, and reverse engineer and improve existing equipment. You'll also produce engineering documentation and technical reports, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams across the business.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer looking for technical challenge, wide project exposure and a clear route to progress into lead and management routes.

The Role:

• Design and develop advanced electronic hardware and embedded systems for military applications
• Support prototype builds, integration, testing, verification and validation
• Reverse engineer and modernize legacy electronic systems
• Develop schematics, engineering documentation and technical reports
• Collaborate with wider engineering teams; travel to an Alabama site as required (approx. 25%)

The Person:

• Experience designing and developing embedded/electronic systems (defense/aerospace/avionics/RF/radar)
• Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
• 3+ years' experience considered if technically strong (5+ years preferred in the brief)
