On offer is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Plant General Manager. You will be responsible for leading the steel fabrication team and owning the department's results, including safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You'll be hands-on with hiring and developing your own people and with building standard work and procedures from scratch. You'll also drive continuous improvement and Lean practices across a growing operation.

This role would suit a steel fabrication supervisor or shop lead looking for a step up into a high-impact role where they can build their own team and develop their career with a growing business.

The Role:

• Lead and develop a team of steel fabricators at a brand new facility, with a direct line to the Plant GM
• Shape the department by building its SOPs, standard work, KPIs and training programs
• Get involved in hiring, coaching and building the team as the site grows

The Candidate:

• Experience in steel, structural or metal fabrication
• Supervisory or shop lead experience
• Able to read fabrication drawings and blueprints
