Are you an experienced welder looking to step up into a lead role, where you can mentor others, be recognized as the go-to expert and grow your career with an expanding business?

On offer is the chance to take the lead in the weld shop, guiding and training a team of welders. You'll be the main point of contact for day-to-day shop activity and have the chance to progress as the site grows.

On offer is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Production Manager. You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day work of the welding team, setting priorities and assigning tasks. You'll also train new starters and keep quality and safety standards high. You'll have a real say in process improvements, and you'll work closely with Quality, Engineering and Operations.

This role would suit an experienced welder or current lead looking for more responsibility and recognition, plus a clear route to develop with a growing company.

The Role:

• Lead and mentor a team of welders, acting as the go-to expert in the shop
• Train new team members and support their skill development

The Candidate:

• Welding or fabrication experience in a manufacturing or fab shop
• Able to read fabrication drawings, blueprints and weld symbols
• Lead, supervisory or mentoring experience, or ready to step up
