Are you a welding supervisor or experienced weld shop lead looking to run your own department, build a team the way you want it and grow your career with a business on the rise?

On offer is a senior shop-floor leadership role reporting directly to the Plant General Manager. You will be responsible for running the welding department and owning its results, including safety, weld quality, delivery and productivity. You'll have a hand in hiring and developing your own welders and in writing the department's procedures and standard work. You'll also lead the continuous improvement that turns a new shop into a high-performing one.

This role would suit a welding supervisor or strong weld shop lead looking for autonomy and the chance to build a department of their own, with long-term progression in a growing business.

The Role:

• Run the welding department at a brand new facility, with a direct line to the Plant GM
• Build your team by hiring, training and developing welders as the site grows
• Shape the shop's SOPs, KPIs, quality standards and improvement plans

The Candidate:

• Welding or fabrication experience in a manufacturing or fab shop
• Supervisory or weld shop lead experience
• Able to read fabrication drawings, blueprints and weld symbols
