Are you a Purchasing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, or Supply Chain professional looking to step into a high-visibility role where you can take ownership of supplier decisions and build toward a future management position with a major manufacturer?

On offer is a permanent, on-site opportunity with full on-the-job training and clear progression, giving you the chance to lead purchasing activity across new projects and ongoing production, with real involvement in sourcing, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.

This is a well-established Tier-1 manufacturer supporting the automotive sector, operating to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 standards. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to add to their purchasing team to support ongoing programs and supplier activity.

In this role you will manage key purchasing activities including parts development, change management (EO/4M), supplier quality issues, and cost / localization projects from development through mass production. You will also play a key part in USMCA management and tariff framework compliance while working cross-functionally across the plant.

This role would suit someone with purchasing experience (automotive preferred) looking for long-term development, increased responsibility, and progression into leadership.

The Role:
- Lead purchasing activity across sourcing, supplier selection, and order placement
- Manage USMCA / customs and tariff framework activity related to purchasing
- Support new project development through mass production, including change management
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers; drive cost reduction and localization initiatives
- On-site position in West Point, GA with flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays when required

The Person:
- 3+ years' purchasing experience (automotive industry preferred)
- Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and experience using purchasing systems
- Bachelor's degree (Purchasing / Supply Chain / Economics / Finance) or comparable experience
