On offer is a rare opportunity to join a specialist team developing low-power, wireless sensors used in real-world rail transportation applications, where you'll help refine and scale existing technology while contributing to new products in development.

This company is known for building innovative sensor technology that supports rail safety, predictive maintenance, and fleet monitoring. Due to continued growth and major contracts in the pipeline, they are now looking to add additional embedded engineering capability to the team.

In this role you'll focus heavily on embedded firmware (with hardware experience welcomed but not essential), working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), low-power optimization, and C/C++ on microcontroller platforms (e.g., ARM Cortex-M), including hands-on debugging, testing, and performance tuning.

The Role:

*Develop and optimize embedded firmware for low-power wireless IoT / sensor devices

*Work with BLE connectivity, MCU peripherals, debugging and test/verification activities

*On-site role based in Austin, TX

*Support existing product improvements and contribute to new product development

The Person:

*Strong embedded firmware experience

*Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) experience and low-power embedded systems experience

*C/C++ on microcontroller platforms (e.g., ARM Cortex-M); practical debugging mindset
