The business is in a seriously exciting period of growth right now, with a variety of interesting things in the pipeline for years to come! They're looking for someone to take the lead on Quality, support a team of four inspectors and help maintain the standards their customers expect.

You'll be joining a close-knit business of around 40 employees, where people are genuinely appreciated for the work they do. Many employees have been there for years, and the culture is built around looking after good people and giving them room to develop.

The Role:

• Lead a team of four Quality Inspectors and take ownership of the Quality function.
• Stay hands-on with inspections while tackling technical quality issues across machining and fabrication.
• Manage customer relationships, supplier quality, certifications and nonconformances.
• Develop your expertise with AS9100 training, with the opportunity to progress into Quality Manager.

The Person:

• Quality experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with some leadership experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of machining, fabrication or inspection.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality system. Aerospace experience isn't essential.
• Someone who enjoys being hands-on and wants greater ownership, responsibility and career progression.
