CNC Machinist / CNC Operator (2nd Shift)

In this role you will set up and operate CNC lathes or mills using existing programs and tooling information (including Mazak), make tool offsets and offset changes, inspect components using tools such as MicroVu and Keyence, deburr parts as required, and complete quality documentation including First Article Inspections (FAI) and Day by Hour reports.

This role would suit a CNC Machinist / Setter / Operator with machining experience who can read blueprints and wants a stable 2nd shift position with long-term security and development.

The Role:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes or CNC mills using existing programs and tooling info (including Mazak)
• Make tool offsets / offset changes and troubleshoot tooling issues to maintain quality
• Inspect parts using equipment such as MicroVu and Keyence and complete production/quality paperwork (FAI, Day by Hour)
• 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 12:00 am (shift differential eligible)

The Person:

• 2+ years machine shop experience (CNC machining / setting / operating)
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work to written / verbal instructions
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and within a team environment
