Integration Engineer / Full-Stack Developer (.NET / React / TypeScript)

$80 - $120/hr + Fully Remote + Long-Term Contract + Technical Ownership + Modernization Project

Are you a .NET / React Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex migrations, reading legacy code, and rebuilding functionality cleanly on a modern platform? Do you want a fully remote, long-term contract where you can run a multi-month deliverable and work closely with product teams and domain experts?

On offer is a high-impact contract with a well-established US software business operating in the power systems space, where you will rebuild an assigned product onto a shared platform and UI kit using C#, ASP.NET Core, React and TypeScript.

Due to increased workload and continued platform modernization, they are now looking to add an Integration Engineer to drive the migration, contribute reusable components back into the shared platform, and ensure like-for-like functionality through side-by-side validation and automated testing.

In this role you will analyze the existing application (screens, workflows, data model and integrations), rebuild features on the new platform, migrate data access into PostgreSQL via Entity Framework Core, and report progress, risks and open questions to Platform Engineering and product leadership.

This role would suit a Full-Stack Engineer with strong .NET / React skills looking for a remote contract with real ownership, technical variety, and the chance to deliver a meaningful modernization project end-to-end.

The Role:

• Rebuild legacy functionality onto a shared platform using C# / ASP.NET Core and React / TypeScript
• Design and migrate data models to PostgreSQL using Entity Framework Core
• Validate functional parity via side-by-side comparison, automated tests, and product team reviews
• Contribute reusable components back into the shared platform and UI kit
• Fully remote contract, working closely with developers and subject matter experts

The Person:

• Strong full-stack experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and React (TypeScript)
• Strong SQL / relational database skills (PostgreSQL ideal; Microsoft SQL Server useful)
• Able to work independently and own a multi-month migration deliverable
