$80,000 - $85,000 + 15% Annual Bonus + Full Benefits + 3 Weeks PTO + Tuition Reimbursement

Are you a Controls Engineer with experience in building automation systems, looking for a remote role focused on troubleshooting and technical support?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognised energy services company, where you'll become a key technical resource supporting existing smart building control systems across a nationwide portfolio.

This company specializes in delivering turnkey lighting, building controls, and energy efficiency solutions to commercial customers throughout the United States.

In this role, you'll focus on post-installation technical support, troubleshooting, and optimising existing building control systems. Working closely with field technicians, project managers, and customers, you'll be troubleshooting systems on day 2 support.

This position would suit someone with a background in building automation systems or HVAC controls who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and wants to move into a remote, service-focused engineering position.

The Role:

• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for installed smart building control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, programming, and communication issues.
• Support field technicians remotely with system faults, programming adjustments, and technical queries.
• Work with project teams and customers to optimise system performance and resolve post-installation issues.

The Candidate:

• Experience in building automation, HVAC controls, lighting controls, or similar systems.
• Toubleshooting and fault-finding experience with installed control systems.
• Experience supporting technicians, modifying controls programming, or resolving system integration issues.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, technical support-focused role.
