Are you a Safety Director, Construction Safety Director, or HSE Director looking for a long-term, traveling role across Kentucky where you can take full ownership of site safety on a flagship hyperscale data center project? On offer is a high-impact leadership position on a major hyperscale data center build (multi-year project, large electrical scope), where you will lead from the front, partner closely with operations and client stakeholders, and play a key role in embedding safety into day-to-day delivery at scale.

This company are a well-established electrical contractor working on large-scale industrial and mission-critical construction projects. Due to winning a new hyperscale data center project in Kentucky, they are now looking to add an experienced Safety Director to support the full project lifecycle.

In this role you will be traveling in Kentucky, ensuring compliance with safety legislation and OSHA standards, driving engagement with site teams, and leading inspections, audits, planning, coaching, and continuous improvement across the project.

This role would suit a Safety Director with strong construction experience who can work independently, communicate confidently with field leadership and senior stakeholders, and wants a long-term project where they can make a visible impact on standards and safety culture.

The Role:

• Traveling Safety Director role supporting a hyperscale data center project in Kentucky
• Own and drive compliance with safety legislation and OSHA standards
• Lead site safety strategy; partner with operations to embed safety into day-to-day delivery
• Lead inspections, audits, incident prevention initiatives, and continuous improvement
• Travelling role based in Kentucky

The Person:

• 10+ years' experience in construction safety (industrial / electrical construction preferred)
• OSHA 30 (or above) and relevant safety qualifications
• Proven ability to influence field leadership and drive a strong safety culture
• Self-starter with strong communication skills and willingness to travel
