This role would suit an experienced turbine valve engineer who wants to build a reputation as a specialist in their field, take greater ownership of projects and establish themselves as a future technical leader.

The Role:

• Lead the engineering lifecycle of steam turbine valve repairs, from initial inspection and scope development through to reassembly and final reporting.
• Develop repair solutions, modifications and upgrades, ensuring technical integrity and quality standards.
• Work with customers and internal teams to solve complex problems, plan outages and improve repair processes.

The Candidate:

• Experience in steam turbine design or repair, ideally focused on large industrial or power generation valves.
• Strong understanding of valve disassembly, inspection, repair methods and reassembly across different OEMs.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, metallurgy and relevant industry standards.
