Are you an experienced applications engineer from a custom equipment background, looking to be the go-to technical expert, work directly with major customers and shape solutions from the very first conversation?

On offer is a senior, highly visible role where your technical judgment drives the business. You'll turn customer challenges into bespoke equipment solutions and have the autonomy to own opportunities from concept to handoff, working alongside the Directors of Equipment and Sales.

On offer is a varied, customer-facing role with travel across the US and internationally. You will be responsible for understanding customers' processes, developing equipment concepts, and putting together the technical proposals and cost estimates that win new projects. You'll also take smaller tooling and fixture projects through to completion and act as a key technical resource across engineering, manufacturing and sales.

This role would suit a senior applications or custom equipment engineer looking for recognition, autonomy and the chance to shape high-value solutions for blue-chip customers.

The Role:

• Work directly with customers to define requirements and develop bespoke equipment concepts
• Build technical proposals, project scopes and cost estimates for new opportunities
• Act as the go-to technical expert, supporting Sales and handing awarded projects to Engineering

The Candidate:

• Extensive experience in custom industrial equipment, applications engineering or estimating
• Proven track record developing and quoting custom equipment or engineered systems
• CAD experience, plus a working knowledge of electrical and controls systems
