The company is looking for an engineer to take on a key role in the electrical design and development of PLC-based control systems and automation equipment. You will be responsible for designing electrical control panels, developing electrical schematics and supporting the integration of control systems across a range of bespoke machinery and automation projects.

You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial electrical design and component selection through to panel integration, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting. This offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen your controls design capabilities while gaining exposure to the practical application of the systems you design.

You will be an Electrical Engineer with an interest in controls design, looking to build your technical expertise within a growing manufacturing business. The position would suit someone looking for specialist training, increased project responsibility and long-term career progression.

The Role:
- Design and develop electrical control systems and control panels for PLC-based automation equipment.
- Produce and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical design documentation.
- Specify electrical components and support the integration of control panels and automation systems.

The Candidate:
- Experience in electrical design, controls engineering or electrical control panel design.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and industrial electrical systems.
- Exposure to PLC-based equipment, industrial automation or machinery controls.
