Are you a Power Generation Technician looking to step up into a more consultative, customer-facing Applications / Project Engineer role where you can build long-term technical expertise and become the go-to specialist on a leading OEM generator product line?

On offer is a permanent opportunity with a well-established, family-owned power solutions business that is growing and investing heavily in training and development. You'll receive OEM training, structured onboarding, and mentorship with a clear route to develop into the Subject Matter Expert for this department.

In this role you will get trainign to become a skilled Applications / Project Engineer. You will act as the main technical point of contact to capture customer requirements, compile and manage submittals, and coordinate installation and commissioning milestones.

This role would suit a client-facing power generation technician with strong communication, and the drive to progress into projects and technical sales support while developing deep OEM expertise.

The Role:

• Act as technical liaison to support scope, installation, and commissioning
• Become Project Engineer / Applications Engineer leading on installations.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with travel across Illinois and Northern Indiana as needed

The Person:

• Power generation technician background (2+ years) with a professional, customer-facing approach
• Strong communication and organization skills; able to manage multiple project milestones
• Motivated to develop into a technical SME through OEM training and mentorship
