Circa £39,000 ( OTE of £50k to £130k ) + Car Allowance + Holiday + Pension

Are you from a strong background in Sales with Solar experience looking to join a company where you will have a direct impact on the future growth of the business as well as the opportunity to increase your annual earnings through bonus?

This company specialises with delivering low carbon and sustainable solutions with the goal of helping thousands of homes and businesses to save energy. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Solar department, where as a business they hope to become one of the countries largest installers of Solar PV.

In this role there will be a mixture of lead generation and managing leads that come into the business on Domestic to Commercial scale solar projects. This will also involve managing a team of sales reps to ensure they are performing to the highest standard. There will be elements of going out to meet clients so there will be an expectation to be flexible with travel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and will also have experience in the solar market. A history with managing teams or being in similar roles such as a Sales manager/ Business Development Manager would be ideal.

The Role:
Generating new lead and progressing leads that come into the business
Take control of existing solar sales teams
Liaising with clients/customers and internal sales reps
Circa £39,000 ( OTE of £50k to £130k ) + Holiday + Pension

The person:
Background in a sales focused role
Experience in UK solar sales
Experience managing teams (desirable)
Full UK driving license and flexible with travel where necessary
