Birmingham

£36,000 - £42,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Professional Development + Industry Training

Are you looking to join a well-established electrical infrastructure specialist supporting high-voltage networks and major renewable energy projects?

This organisation is a recognised leader in the design and construction of high-voltage electrical power infrastructure. With multiple industry accreditations, including Construction Line, Safe Contractor, CHAS, NERS, Achilles, ECA and NICEIC, they are committed to delivering safe, high-quality engineering solutions nationwide.

This is a pivotal role supporting business-wide compliance activities, ensuring documentation, reporting and operational processes meet all legal, regulatory and industry standards. You'll work closely with engineering, project and management teams to maintain high-quality compliance systems, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of compliance activities within a highly accredited engineering business, contributing directly to the safety, quality and reliability of major HV and renewable projects.


The Role:

  • Prepare, maintain and update compliance documentation to ensure full regulatory adherence.

  • Create, review and update compliance reports and internal records.

  • Support internal and external audits, inspections and accreditation renewals.

  • Coordinate with operational teams to ensure regulatory and industry requirements are met.

  • Assist with the implementation, monitoring and improvement of compliance policies and procedures.

  • Support the management of documentation linked to certifications such as NERS, CHAS and similar frameworks.


The Person:

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and legal requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.

  • Understanding of finance-related processes within compliance or operational environments.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

  • Familiarity with industry accreditations (NERS, CHAS, etc.) is highly advantageous.
