EHS Officer
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Healthcare Scheme + Pension + Training & Development + Early Friday Finish
Location: Aylesbury (Commutable from Oxford, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Leighton Buzzard)

On offer is a permanent opportunity to lead on Environmental, Health and Safety across a long-established business, maintaining ISO45001 & ISO14001 standards while shaping best practice and supporting sustainability initiatives.

This organisation are a specialist manufacturer of bespoke engineered products, supplying into defence, energy, and industrial sectors. They're well-established, growing steadily, and committed to investing in their people through ongoing training, career development, and internal promotion.

In this role, you'll develop, implement, and maintain EH&S systems and policies, conduct audits and risk assessments, and lead training to embed a proactive safety culture. You'll also liaise with external bodies, support sustainability goals, and work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure full compliance and continuous improvement.

This position would suit an experienced EHS Officer seeking autonomy, development, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a forward-thinking engineering environment.

The Role:

  • Technical Compliance & Standards Management.
  • Risk Assessment & Incident Investigation.
  • Operational Integration & EH&S Systems Development.

The Candidate:

  • Qualified & Experienced NEBOSH-certified.
  • Strong knowledge of UK legislation and ISO 45001/14001.
  • Manufacturing/Engineering background.
