Energy Project Manager - LAUSD
Southern California - Remote With Site Visits
$110,000 - $130,000 + 10% Bonus + Travel Expenses Covered + Competitive PTO + Medical + 401K
Excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with Energy Efficiency / Energy Performance Contracts experience to join the USA's fastest growing Energy Service Companies where they will hold full responsibility for the delivery of projects at education facilities in Southern California.
This international business has a presence in a number of fields ranging from things such as gas supply and heating to renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for clients in the federal, local government, education, healthcare and commercial sectors.
In this role you will have responsibility across the design-build project lifecycle for a range of Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency projects across Southern California covering LAUSD and other education facilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing sustainability, energy efficiency, energy performance or renewable energy projects for LAUSD (either on the contractor's side or the owner's side), and will either come from an engineering background or will have demonstrable experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The role:
* Overseeing Energy Performance / Energy Efficiency projects for LAUSD
* Ensuring projects are completed on-time & reporting on progress to stakeholders during delivery
* Supporting with enforcement of contract requirements & ensuring compliance with designs/specs
* Coordinating logistics, equipment, material deliveries, site personnel etc.
* Monitoring, inspecting & reviewing works carried out to ensure quality & safety standards are met
* Liaising with development and operations teams for various pre-construction activities
The Person:
* Educated to Degree level in a Construction Management or Engineering discipline, or otherwise comfortable engaging with multidisciplinary engineering teams
* Previous experience delivering Energy/Sustainability projects for LAUSD
* OSHA 30 certification - required or to be obtained within 6 months of starting
* NABCEP PV Installation Professional - Highly Advantageous
* Active Drivers License
