Field Service Engineer
Glasgow (Hybrid / Flexible Working Available)
Up to £38,000 (DOE) + Excellent Progression Opportunities + Training + Pension + Holidays + Monday - Friday (no weekends required)

This independent firm specialise in the design, product and service provider to the Electricity Supply Utilities industry. They represent a wide variety of clients across the UK and hold 16+ years within their field. They're seeking motivated individuals with previous experience working with complex engineering equipment to showcase their existing skillset, whilst seeking an opportunity to become technically trained using a niche monitoring, engineering equipment.
In this role the engineer will be tasked with the installation and maintenance of new condition monitoring equipment including subsystems and communications, carrying out surveys within HV substations, removing and relocating existing systems. They will also be expected to prepare and write reports and risk assessments to support their work within the field.
The ideal candidate will either be in a service engineering role now or in a maintenance engineering role where you want to move into a field role. You will need experience maintaining electrical and mechanical machinery. You will also need to be competent with hardware and have a proven track record of working on machinery that has a digital interface.
This is a brilliant role for an engineer to become a task expert in a niche field whilst having the chance to progress your career into senior/ management roles.

The Person:
* Holds an HNC qualification or an Engineering degree
* Must be self-sufficient and manage work load
* Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
* Holds a full UK Driving Licence
* Good knowledge of handling Microsoft Office
* Live in a commutable distance to Glasgow
