Field Service Engineer
Leeds - Covering a local patch including Bradford, Huddersfield, Barnsley and Surrounding Areas.
£29,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Training + Overtime Opportunities + Company Vehicle + Progression

On offer is a stable and secure position as a Field Service Engineer working for an industry-leader in the industry.
The company are the sole UK distributor for a blue-chip manufacturer of electric forklifts. They have depots nationwide and an established client base. They are going through an exciting period of growth and are therefore looking for a new Service Engineer to join their team of experienced technicians.
In this role, you will cover a small regional patch servicing and maintaining electric forklifts. This will be a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance and you will be responsible for managing your company vehicle and stock levels. For any candidates without direct forklift experience, an extensive training programme will be provided which will develop your electrical and hydraulic skills.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a relevant qualification (eg. NVQ, City & Guilds ect.) in a relevant engineering field, which can include forklifts, HGVs, and various types of vehicles. A background servicing and maintaining forklift would be advantageous but not required. Ex forces candidates are encouraged to apply.
The Person:
- Knowledge and experience working on Hydraulic / Electrical / Mechanical systems.
- Previous experience working on Forklifts is highly advantageous but not essential.
- A relevant Engineering qualification.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
