Fantastic opportunity for a Foreman from an electrical machinery background to join a well-respected organization at the forefront of innovation that can offer progression to Lead Engineer and the chance to train and develop on a range of power plant and substation specific machinery.

In this hands on workshop based role you will work closely with the engineers and technicians to provide support for design on switchgears, breakers and transformers inside power plant and substation related equipment which will include rewiring diagrams, component selection, integration and fabrication. This position will work closely with the Lead Engineer and will take over that position in its succession planning.
This role would someone looking to develop their skills and experience and build a long term career with a well-respected business.
The Role:
*Hands on workshop based role liaising with engineers and technicians
*Support design on switchgears, breakers, transformers on plant machinery
*Rewiring diagrams, component selection, integration and fabrication
*Work closely with the lead engineer with development into this position
The Person:
*Foreman or supervisory experience in a workshop environment
*Basic design experience on electrical machinery
*Knowledge of switchgears, breakers, transformers or similar equipment
