Are you an experienced Fraud Investigator with experience of working within the construction supply chain?

My client are a leading infrastructure and engineering organisation and are looking for a Fraud & Ethics Investigator to join their Counter Fraud team.

It is a varied and high-profile role, responsible for investigating alleged fraud, bribery, corruption, and unethical behaviour across complex projects and supply chains. You will play a key role in maintaining organisational integrity by conducting investigations, identifying lessons learned, and embedding ethical values across the business and its partners.

Candidates will ideally have experience in fraud, ethics, or compliance investigations, with the ability to operate independently and manage cases in a complex organisational structure. Professional accreditation in investigation disciplines such as CFE, PIP, ACFS, or APCIP is desirable.

The role requires excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to produce clear, professional investigation reports.

The Role

* Manage an allocated caseload of investigations relating to alleged fraud or unethical behaviour
* Conduct investigations efficiently using a variety of techniques, in line with legislation and organisational standards
* Produce investigation reports and evidential material, including recommendations and lessons learned
* Deliver fraud awareness training and conduct regular fraud risk assessments across business activities
* Maintain accurate investigation logs, documentation, and track outcomes of recommendations

The Person

* Experience investigating ethics, compliance, or fraud issues in complex organisations
* Professional accreditation in an investigation discipline desirable (CFE, PIP, ACFS, APCIP, PINS)
* Strong investigative analysis and reporting skills, with ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
* Ability to operate independently while supporting a wider team
