Tottenham (Seven sister tube stop)

£55'000 + Training + Progression + ABILITY TO BECOME CHARTERED + 33 days holiday

Do you have 3 year's experience in a health and safety management role and hold the NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent IOSH qualification?

The main focus of this role is to implement and maintain a comprehensive health & safety management system across the organisation and its multiple sites around London.

The Health and safety Manager is required to assist the implementation and maintenance of this organisations Health & Safety Management System across all departments and subject areas at geographical locations in Central London. You will also required to provide the Head of Health and Safety with such routine information as is necessary to optimise the organisations health & safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 year's experience in a health and safety management role, hold the NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent IOSH qualification and be commutable to Tottenham, Islington or Camden road.

The role:
*Maintain a high level of awareness of changes in legislation and advise managers accordingly
*Interpret & implement the Health & Safety Management system
*Write monthly reports to update the Head of Health & Safety on the status of departmental compliance
*Attend Health and Safety Committees, presenting reports as and when required
*Receive and implement instructions from the Head of Health & Safety and support him/her as appropriate
*Advise, guide and support middle-management and staff as necessary
*Maintain such contact with staff as necessary to achieve stated key performance objectives
*Act as catalyst to implement written policies, arrangements and procedures across all departments
*Assist the implementation of such Quality Management Systems.
*Assist the implementation of plans and strategies to facilitate ongoing high levels of legal compliance

The person:
*A minimum of 3 years health and safety manager experience.
* NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent IOSH qualification
*Live commutable to Tottenham, Islington and Camden road.
*Looking to for long term position.
