Are you a Graduate Chemical or Chemical Engineering looking to progress into the renewable energy sector, offering technical development and further training?

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career with a marketing leading renewable energy specialist, offering a variety of Lab and industrial work, where you will be behind the process development of the plant.

This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries. They have a number of new sites in planning, construction and commissioning phases across Scotland and are also beginning to move into other areas of Renewable Energy supported by the recent establishment of offices in England.

In this role you should expect Lab and Industrial research work, with the aim of making the renewable energy plant more efficient. This will be a Monday - Friday role, working within a small multi-skilled team.

The Role:
* Responsible for overall management and operation of the laboratory, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant environment
* Overseeing laboratory staff, equipment and resources to support research, development and testing activities
* Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of laboratory results
* Working for a reputable and growing company that offer brilliant benefits and development opportunities

The Person:
* Experience working within a laboratory setting and hold supervisory or management experience
* Holds strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment and safety protocols
* Ability to lead and motivate a team and delegate tasks
* Holds a Masters or PhD in relevant scientific field (e.g. biology, chemistry, biochemistry)
