Plumbing Lecturer (Temporary)

£40-£45 p/hr + 37 Hours/Week
Are you a qualified Plumber with teaching experience looking for a full-time role that lets you inspire the next generation of tradespeople?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and learner-focused team as a Lecturer in Plumbing on a temporary basis, delivering practical and theory-based sessions to Level 1 students starting this September.
In this role, you'll guide students through essential plumbing skills and knowledge, supporting their development in a structured classroom and workshop environment. You'll have the chance to shape course content, create engaging learning resources, and support learner progression - all while working a steady Monday to Friday schedule.
The ideal candidate will have at least a Level 2 qualification in Plumbing, a recognised teaching qualification, and a passion for hands-on learning.
The Role
Deliver engaging lessons in Plumbing (Level 1)
Plan and assess lessons to awarding body standards
Create high-quality teaching resources and materials
Carry out admin, marking, and student progress tracking
37 hours per week | Mon-Thurs: 8:30-17:00 | Fri: 8:30-16:30

Level 2 (or higher) Plumbing qualification
Recognised teaching qualification
Organised, engaging, and passionate about supporting learners
Available to start from 1st September
Based within a commutable distance of Cambridge
