Maintenance Manager - Process Plant

Girvan (Occasional Travel To Other Scotland Sites)

Are you an experienced and outgoing leader in the field of multi-skilled maintenance with previous maintenance management experience, and looking to join a rapidly growing company at an exciting time as they cement their position as Scotland's leader in the Bioenergy market?

This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years. They have a number of new sites under construction across Scotland as well as several more due to start construction early next year.

In this role you will be responsible for all activities on site relating to mechanical, electrical, controls and instrumentation maintenance. You will be working closely alongside the operations team and 3rd party contractors to ensure the continuous, efficient operation of the plant along with implementing improvements to future-proof the site.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a maintenance management role looking after an industrial-scale site, and they will preferably have experience in a chemical process plant environment looking after rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, generators, pipework etc.

The role:
* Leading in all aspects of mechanical, electrical, controls and instrumentation maintenance
* Working alongside internal and external resources to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant
* Implementing and engaging with improvement schemes for maintenance activities
* Responsibility for the maintenance team and their continuous development
* Ensuring HSE compliance on site

The person:
* 5+ years' experience in maintenance management
* Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
* Financial Management experience or training
* Six Sigma or similar qualification, or process improvement experience
* Full UK driving license and comfortable with travel to sites around Scotland where necessary
