Designate Managing Director
Currently UK based, relocating to Chennai, India
£130,000-£160,000 + OTE up to £200,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Company Pension + Holiday + Company Benefits

This is a recognised, well-established company that have grown year on year to become the market leader in their industry and actively supply into the mining, construction, defence, mineral processing sectors and many more. Due to their recent success, the company are looking for a Managing Director to take on their next phase of growth plans and play a key part in the success of the sites in India.
The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be to oversee two manufacturing sites in Chennai and ensure to develop and expand the company's commercial strategies across India whilst managing sustainable growth. The candidate will work closely with the current Director to allow a successful transition period and handover.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Engineer, with background at a Head of Operations/ Engineering Manager/ Director level and experience with previous stints working internationally.

The Role
*Designate Managing Director (2-year handover period)
*Overseeing and developing commercial strategies for the Division within India
*Build and maintain profitable opportunities with existing or new stakeholders
*Leading a current management team and overall headcount between (60-80)
The Person
*Managing Director/ Head of Operations/ Engineering Director or similar experience
*Previously trained as an Engineer (Holding an Engineering qualification, Degree, HNC, Apprenticeship)
*UK Based, and able to relocate to India on a full time basis
*Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors (chemical processing, mechanical engineering etc.)
*Prepared to work across two sites with a head count up to 80 staff
