Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter from a manufacturing background who is looking for a 3 month contract with a company who are specialists within their sector.
Do you have experience assembly and fitting manufacturing machinery? Are you happy for regular travel around the UK?
This company specialise in logistics services for the manufacturing sector, working with a range of blue chip companies around the UK. They are currently going through a busy period after winning a number of contracts and are now looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join them on an initial 3 month contract.
In this role you will be travelling to customer sites in a team where you will be involved in the strip down and disassembly of their machinery and equipment before sending it off to a new destination. Once at the new site you be involved in the reassembly and commissioning of the equipment ready for use. The role will involve staying away, potentially for up to 5 days at a time, where all accommodation and food costs will be covered by the company. This is a 3 month initial contract with possible extension dependent on workload.

- Mechanical Fitter with experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Be able to stay away for up to 5 days at a time
- Looking for a 3 month contract
- Commutable to Ilkeston area
