Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

£35,000 per annum + Site Based Role + Flexible Working Hours + Early Finish on Fridays + Company Benefits
Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a long-established UK engineering company that works with some of the biggest names in the manufacturing and heavy equipment sectors?
On offer is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied and hands-on role, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of CNC and specialist machinery. You'll be joining a business with over 50 years of engineering excellence, supplying precision components to leading global brands such as Caterpillar, JCB, and Volvo.

The Role:
- Provide mechanical maintenance and repair across a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery, diagnose and repair mechanical faults including gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks, carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support. Undertake refurbishment and improvement projects on plant and machinery
- £35,000 per annum
- 37.5hrs per week (6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, 11:30 finish Fridays)
The Person:
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- CNC maintenance experience
- Familiar with Fanuc & Siemens controls is desirebale but other controls will be considered
- Electrical/PLC experience would be a bonus
