Electrical Maintenance Technician
Commutable from Grangemouth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling
£30,000 - £36,000 (OTE £40,000+) + Shift Allowance + Annual Bonus + Electric Car Scheme + Private Medical
An excellent opportunity for someone with Electrical Maintenance experience to join a state-of-the-art renewables company that is going through an exciting growth period.
This well-established Renewable Energy company specialises in extracting valuable biochemicals from waste materials using sustainable processes. They have just opened a new plant with the plan to invest and open more sites to push themselves to the forefront of the industry.
In this role you will be working on a weekly day-shift to back-shift rota, working in a close-knit team to carry out planned-preventative maintenance and oversee inspection and servicing of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing and maintaining electrical equipment as well as fault finding and trouble-shooting. They can either be time-served or hold an SVQ level 3.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the electrical industry who has worked in a Chemical/Manufacturing background or similar to join a company who invests in staff to create a positive working environment.
The Role:
- Carry out planned-preventative maintenance on site equipment
- Manage the sites stores to ensure they are well maintained and controlled
- Oversee routine inspection and servicing by equipment suppliers
- Work on a weekly rota of day-shift to back-shift (2pm-10pm) (6am-2pm)
The Person:
- Time-Served Maintenance Technician or SVQ Level 3
- Experience in Electrical Maintenance
- Chemical Manufacturing Industry or Similar
- Flexibility to work on a weekly rota of day-shift to back-shift
