PLC Control Engineer
Workshop based with occasional sight visits commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, Tamworth, Aldridge
£42,000 - £47,000 + Mon - Thu (7:30am-4:30pm) +Early finish on Fridays (1pm) + Overtime (1.3x) + Career Progression

As a PLC Control Engineer, you'll take ownership of control system design, PLC/HMI software development, and the full commissioning process for advanced special purpose machinery. Working closely with both electrical and mechanical colleagues, your expertise will play a key role in delivering tailored, high-spec systems from concept through to on-site delivery.

The Role:
- Involved in the design, development, and commissioning of bespoke automated machinery.
- Programming control systems and overseeing full project lifecycle from design to on-site installation.
- Mix of office-based and UK site work, with occasional travel and overnight stays required.
The Candidate:
- Experience with control systems, PLC programming, or automation projects.
- Strong electrical understanding and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel when required.
