My client is a well-established plumbing and heating company with over 22 years of experience delivering high-end services to affluent customers across areas like Mayfair, Belgravia, Chelsea, and Fulham. With a solid reputation for excellence and a strong pipeline of growth, they're on a mission to become a leading name in both domestic and commercial heating conversions.

As the Administrative & Operations Assistant, you'll play a central role in keeping the business running smoothly. From handling client and engineer communications to managing schedules, issuing invoices and supporting senior leadership, this is a varied and hands-on position where your organisational skills and attention to detail will be highly valued.

You're proactive, approachable and ideally come from a plumbing, construction, or property services background. You understand how engineers work, are confident using Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook), and you thrive in a structured, office-based environment. Most importantly, you're ready to hit the ground running, improve systems, and bring order to a busy, growing company.

The Person

  • A confident, capable and detail-driven approach to office support
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly manner
  • Previous experience in a similar industry (plumbing, construction or maintenance)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence managing digital filing systems
  • A calm, solutions-focused attitude when multitasking and problem-solving

The Role

  • Handling incoming calls and emails from clients, engineers and suppliers
  • Monitoring and updating engineer schedules, timesheets and diaries
  • Issuing invoices, assisting with reporting and managing documentation
  • Supporting the Director, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor with admin tasks
  • Organising internal systems to keep the business operating at a high level
