In this role, you'll lead the design and integration of electrical and controls systems for advanced manufacturing lines. From initial specs to commissioning, you'll ensure all components (robots, drives, sensors) work together to support smooth, high-performance production.

The Role:
- Lead electrical design for robotic cells and high-speed automation equipment.
- Define controls strategy, hardware standards, and safety objectives.
- Select and specify controls components (PLCs, drives, sensors, vision, safety).
- Oversee integration, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure reliable OT/IT connectivity and accurate data capture.
- Manage $1M-$10M automation projects, reporting to leadership.
- Drive OEE, energy efficiency, and system reliability improvements.
- Mentor engineers and technicians; enforce best practices.

The Person:
- Experience in industrial automation leading complex, high-impact projects.
- Track record of delivering high-throughput automation cells or lines from concept to steady-state production.
- Deep expertise in PLCs, HMIs, industrial robotics (preferably Fanuc), networking, and functional safety standards.
- Skilled at communicating technical challenges in terms of business impact to executive stakeholders.
