Senior Instrumentation Design Engineer
Commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Coventry
Location - Ashby-De-La-Zouch
£45,000 - £60,000 + Hybrid Working + Progression to Chartership + Days-based + Overtime
Are you an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer, looking to further develop their skillset with a market leader and become an industry expert?

As a Senior Engineer within the design team you will have a high level of autonomy by way of taking lead on design projects, working directly from design packages, collaborating closely with the project team, meeting with clients, and supporting junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of working experience in an Instrumentation Design position, along with a Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. In addition to this, you will also have knowledge of design codes such as BS6739.
This exciting opportunity provides the resources to take on a high-responsibility role, while being supported to become a true expert in the field.
The Role
- Taking the lead on the design process of instrumentation projects
- Supporting junior members of staff
- Working from design packs
- Understanding of client requirements and specifications
- Meeting with clients
- £45,000 - £60,000 + Hybrid Working + Progression
The Person
- Experience in an Electrical Design Engineering
- Come from the oil & gas or similar utilities industry
- Electrical Engineering Degree or similar relevant qualification
- AutoCAD 2D knowledge (desirable)
- SCADA / DCS Systems (desirable)
