Senior Perception Engineer (Autonomous Driving)
$200,000 - $300,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package + Stock Options + PTO

Are you an experienced perception engineer with a background in autonomous driving looking to take full ownership of algorithm development at a fast-paced, well-funded startup?
This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovation at the cutting edge of Level 4 autonomous technology. You'll join a forward-thinking company that's building a next-generation autonomous freight network, where you'll work alongside world-class engineers and directly influence real-world deployments.
In this role, you'll design and optimize state-of-the-art perception systems - from sensor fusion and object detection to output enhancement and system integration. You'll be given the autonomy to lead technical development, drive performance, and shape the core of an industry-defining platform.
This position is ideal for a top-tier engineer with hands-on experience in L4 autonomous systems who is looking for the freedom to lead algorithm development and make a direct impact on real-world performance.
The role:
*Design and implement end-to-end perception algorithms for L4 autonomous vehicles
*Lead development of object detection, tracking, and sensor fusion systems
*Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and engineering teams to optimize performance on SoC platforms
*Drive algorithm validation, optimization, and deployment in real-world environments
The person:
*Strong C++ skills and experience in efficient algorithm development
*Deep expertise in object detection, tracking, and 3D perception
*Familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
*Background in deploying autonomous perception systems at scale
*Leadership ability or experience driving cross-functional collaboration
