Service Technician (Wind Turbines + Full OEM Training)
Location: Kilbraur Wind Farm - Covering Golspie / Brora / Lairg (Highlands, Scotland)
Salary: £34,000 + Bonus + Overtime & On-Call (OTE £40,000-£45,000) + Training + 33 Days Holiday + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Top 3 Global Wind Turbine OEM, where you will service and maintain industrial wind turbines across the Kilbraur Wind Farm region. You'll receive extensive OEM-specific training through a structured training academy and ongoing technical development to become a fully certified Wind Turbine Technician.

This role offers excellent long-term career prospects, including progression into Lead Technician and Supervisory positions, alongside generous overtime and on-call rates.

The Role:

Service and maintenance of wind turbines across Kilbraur Wind Farm
Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
Full OEM and technical training provided
Field-based role with travel across the Golspie / Brora / Lairg area
Physically demanding, working at height (Working at Height medical required - Chester Step Test)
Overtime, on-call payments, and annual bonus

The Person:

Electrical or Mechanical background (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Experience within Ex-Forces (REME, RAF, Navy, Marines), Agricultural, Plant, HGV, or similar backgrounds highly desirable
Able to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams
Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Full UK driving license (essential)
Must live within approximately 1 hour of Golspie
