Solar Technical Support Engineer
Wokingham
Covering the South-East
£35,000-£45,000 + up to 12% Bonus + £600 annual Development budget + Vehicle + Pension + Holiday + Perks
Do you have experience as a Solar Engineer with a good technical understanding of the installations, looking to join a well-established business within the energy and sustainability sector, where you will directly influence the trajectory of the company?

This company specialises in energy efficiency and sustainability measures. Through their innovation and quality of service, they now require a Solar Technical Support Engineer to plan and commission installations, indoor and outdoor electrical control and wiring.
In this role, you will help the company continue its goals in growing their solar department through new innovations, whilst also providing a brilliant service through dealing with technical queries from the companies network of installers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a company, giving you the chance to come off the tools and progress in a more project based role.
The Role:
- Visit installations for both internal and external contractors, inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers.
- Support and train technical teams across the business.
- Stay apprised of revisions to relevant solar, electrical, building and safety regulations.
- Main point of support for the companies new domestic solar and battery storage technology.
The Applicant:
- Technical experience and knowledge of solar installation.
- NVQ level 3.
- 18th Edition qualified.
- C&G fundamental inspection, testing and verification (2391)
