Technical Projects Engineer
£45,000 - £60,000 + Training + Progression + Fleixlbe Working + Company Benefits
York, UK (Commutable from Leeds, Wetherby, Selby, Knaresborough, Tadcaster, Malton)
Are you an engineer with project management experience looking to lead hands-on, technical work in a growing business that values your development?
On offer is the chance to join experts in bespoke industrial process cooling - delivering custom solutions for manufacturing and commercial clients across the UK. You'll lead projects from design to installation, with real room to grow your skills and shape your role.
With over 10 years of experience, the company designs and installs energy-efficient cooling solutions tailored to each client. It's a collaborative, flexible workplace where engineers take ownership, build broad technical skills, and benefit from real investment in their growth.
You'll manage your own projects from start to finish-handling design reviews, client comms, scheduling, tech support, and commissioning. You'll work with a tight-knit team, enjoy hybrid working, and travel to UK customer sites 1-2 days a week (expenses paid).
This role suits a practical, confident project manager with a strong technical foundation, ready to grow in a fast-paced but supportive setting.
The Role:
- Lead projects from enquiry to completion - planning, scheduling, coordinating resources
- Provide hands-on technical support through installation and commissioning
- Travel 1-2 days a week to client sites across the UK (expenses paid); hybrid work setup
The Candidate:
- Strong engineering/technical background
- Project management experience
- Full UK driving licence - essential
