Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Livingston
£30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Progression + Training
Great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing Main Contractor where you will work on a variety of projects in a mixture of sectors including Residential and Commercial whilst having an opportunity for further technical training and progression all the way to Head of Commercial.

This well established and growing Main Contractor work in mainly within the Commercial and Residential sectors. Working on a variety of projects from new build, refurbishments, maintenance to Commercial and Industrial fit out. They have impressive plans of growth due to consistent high-quality services which has resulted in them having an impressive workbook. As a result, they are looking to add to their dynamic and loyal workforce, majority of which have been with the business for more than 10 years.
In this role you'll be working on projects from concept to completion. Where you'll be assisting this Senior Quantity Surveyor and Estimator. You'll be responsible for completing and keeping track of sub-contractor payments. Also, you'll be identifying and measuring variations of the project and liaising with the on-site team. As well as that, you will be making sure that the valuations and final accounts are completed and agreed with clients within set deadlines amongst other responsibilities.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will have previous Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor experience in a Main Contractor setting. You will also have a full UK driver's license, so they are able to travel to the sites across Central Scotland.
