Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Glasgow
£35,000 - £45,000 + Company Car + Bonus + Chartership Support + Training + Progression
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing Construction company where you will work on a variety of Civil Engineering sector including Infrastructure, Commercial and Residential projects whilst having opportunity for technical training, chartership support and progression to Quantity Surveyor and higher.

This well-established construction company who have been established for over 60 years, mainly work in Civil Engineering sector within Commercial, Residential and Infrastructure projects. They work on a mixture of projects from roads and structures, streetscaping and housing projects. They have impressive plans of growth due to consistent high-quality service which has resulted in them having an impressive workbook. As a result, they are looking to add to their add to their dynamic workforce with this great opportunity.
In this role you'll be responsible for managing a number of projects at once. With this projects you will ensuring that sub-contractors are placed and paid. As well as, dealing with monthly applications and making sure they are not any problems. Within this role you will also be travelling to their different sites across Central and South Scotland liaising with the on-site teams. Finally, amongst other responsibilities you will be identifying and measuring variations and placing contract notices.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering sector. You will also have a full UK driver's license, so you are able to travel to their sites across Central and Southern Scotland.

The Person:
- Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Previous experience working on Civils or Groundworks projects
- Good communicator and team player
- Commutable distance to their office in Glasgow
- Full UK drivers' license so you're able to travel to their sites in Central and South Scotland
